and Open House on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Berks County

2014 October Farm Tour
Southern Berks County will be featured in this year's annual October Farm Tour on Saturday, October 18, 2014. The area is rich in history, forests and farmland, according to Sheila Miller, Berks County's agricultural coordinator.
Dietitian to Volunteer at Penn St. Market
A registered dietitian from Reading Hospital and Medical Center will be at the Penn Street Market on Friday, June 14th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. to provide information to customers and visitors to the market about good nutrition.

B.A.R.N organizes to support leading industry
A newly created non-profit organization has been formed in Berks County to assist the agricultural industry. Formerly known as the Berks Farm-City Council, the Berks Agricultural Resource Network (B.A.R.N.) will be expanding its original base and bringing in new advocates for the food and fiber industries of Berks County.
